Return of the Stamp Out Hunger was low

The turnout of the May 12^th Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive was unfortunately lower than expected. The usual amount is 10-15 tons of food and this year only 6 tons were collected.

Thieves targeting Hospitals

Thieves are targeting outdoor mailboxes near Capitol Medical Center and Providence St. Peter Hospital in Washington. Mail, checks, lab results, and payments are mostly what have been stolen so far.

Update: Stamp Out Hunger

Over 75,000 pounds of food were collected at the 2012 Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive. This total was as of 7:00 pm on Saturday and this amount is said to increase throughout the week as food is counted and trucks finish dropping it all off. Read more of the collection efforts here:
