Unhappy Residents

Residents in Moline, Illinois are beginning to get worried that getting their mail is turning into a dangerous situation. Cluster Mailboxes were placed at an intersection and temporary relocated while construction was done on a road. With the road completed, residents were excited to get their mailboxes moved back to in front of their house, but they received news that these mailboxes will remain at the busy intersection. Residents have already begun arguing their side of the story to city council members in hopes to get the permanent decision back to normal. The residents argue that the cluster boxes are already creating traffic backups at busy times of the day, and when the weather gets worse the problems will also get worse. One resident even said, "We're 69 years old we don't need to be coming down here risking our life trying to get our mail." The postal service argues cluster boxes are much more efficient to fill, and cost less than driving house to house. The residents love their new street but not the location of their new mailboxes.
